I received a call from the following number (917) 391-5118. Someone presenting with a male voice, requested me by my maiden name and shared that he was reaching out about a Civil Claim law suit that was being filed about me by Thursday, February 5, 2026. I asked for more information and he said I needed to call the below company (law firm) and phone number and they'd explain all the details. The company name they provided was Williams & Associates - (855) 200-8155 and had to reference claim number ***********. Once I hung up I Googled the phone numbers and company name and my search resulted in it being a possible scam. Since this is the first time that I hear of a Civil Lawsuit being filed about me, I will not proceed with engaging in any further conversation (e.g., calling the "law firm" or number back.
