I received a text message from something claiming to be the recruitment department. I agreed to learn more as I have information on job related sites for work from home opportunities. They sent me to WhatsApp and gave me a link to someone claiming to be Annie Corbin. The profile photo appeared Asian. The person agreed immediately to a video call and the person on the other end looked similar to the photo. The person spoke English pretty well and even though they repeated themselves a few times, they didn’t appear initially like a bad actor. I was sent to a website (8illusion.com) later redacted and became (https://nexxengajx.cc/#) and was asked to create an account. I was put through training which consisted of clicking start and submit repeatedly on a variety of items with automatic 5 star reviews. Later I find out these products (available on Amazon) were either much cheaper on Amazon or ridiculously more expensive. As long as you complete all required tasks you can withdraw yourself each day to your desired crypto through PayPal, CashApp, etc. and you will receive payment. However, occasionally you will receive what is referred to as combined orders which are consisting of 2 or more items, the second and subsequent substantially larger than the first, creating a negative balance that you must deposit more money to clear. The only way to cash out to finish all the orders in your required sets each day. They spend every waking moment between certain hours of every day getting to know you and calling you a friend. Eventually you grow an emotional bond. This one actually offered to help me by depositing part of the negative balance showing owed. This one didn’t get as much as the last one though which got $1510 out of me before the negative showed $5200. That one involved a crypto exchange that required you to buy into the exchange, hold it for a small timeframe they specif [BBB Scam Type: Employment] [Business: Nexxen] [Location: NV, USA - 89501]
