I don't know what the scam is. They call me daily and say that I have thousands of dollars available and imply it's a govt benefit program on the messages. It says press 1 to speak to an agent and today I actually answered the call and pressed 1 so I could find out who and why they keep calling and get off the list. When I pressed 1 it told me Thanks for verifying and signing up and then sent me a message with a code number to use on their website. I don't know wtf I just got signed up for and I'm not going to their website to find out. How do I protect myself from some bogus claim for services or something they say I accepted when I pressed 1 just to cuss them out for bothering me 2-4 times a day & get off of their list ?? I can't afford to hire an attorney to fight some scam. I've never heard of AmbiaSolar and they don't use that name when they call. The text today was : AmbiaSolar: Thanks for signing up. They use United Benefits Bureau and Members Benefits Agency on the messages. This is one of the messages transcribed by Google Assistant on my phone - I've never answered their calls until today- I pushed 2 but that doesn't do anything so I got mad and pushed 1 to get to a real person to complain & stop the calls. That was a big mistake. I haven't tried the number given for removing my name for fear that I get signed up for something else they're scamming.
