Xbox live account was stolen and used to purchase games and points My XBOX Live account was compromised today and they used it to purchase about $200 worth of games and points with my PayPal account that was linked. But I think the thief made a mistake. He changed the email multiple times. First to an email account that was something like 338298384@brq.net then he changed it to a personal email account which was his XBOX live tag and gamer alias. Then changed it again to his personal email with his first name in it. A quick Google search of his gamer alias turned up a Twitter account with his full name and picture. His birth date and location were on another website. Now, I've already done the proper things; remove my credit card from PayPal, dispute all the transactions, and I will contact my bank tomorrow to let them know I will possibly be disputing the transactions with them (if PayPal doesn't help me out). So I'll most likely be recovering any losses. Unfortunately this guy is in Mexico. Is there anything I can do here to him? Is there a really good way I could scare him? Let me know what you guys think I should do. Bonus question: How the hell would he have got my Xbox Live information?
