I got scammed but found the scammer again, can someone help? So I feel really dumb after getting scammed and have accepted the fact that I have lost $3,500. I have reported the scam, with the documents I have compiled, to the local attorneys office. I also have a ticket open with the payment method (Green Dot MoneyPak) that was used to "make the purchase" as they are further investigating. I know now about how obvious this was and have learned my lesson. The reason why I am posting this is to see if anyone can help me because I have found another post from the same scammer and I am currently in the position to bait them. Does anyone have the skills to locate where this person or scammer is and possibly help me catch them? I figure it's worth a try and I would appreciate any advice or help I can get. I have email headers, numbers, email address, the emails themselves, the Green Dot MoneyPaks, and receipts. The purchase was for a 2004 Land Rover Discovery II S (Black). I found it on craigslist and the scammer was impersonating eBay. This time it's posted on http://carslr.com Please help!
