CEX.IO - selective scammer? I have been a registered cex.io user since 2016. Used it to mostly buy cryptocurrency. Last year I initiated an upgrade to cex.io's highest level of verification. Provided them with a comprehensive set of documents, including IRS Forms 1040A, invoices to my clients, bank statements, passport scan, etc. When they asked for screenshots of destination wallets for withdrawal transactions from 2016-2017 I decided to cancel the verification upgrade and withdraw my bitcoins. Made three attempts to withdraw coins, but they blocked all of them. Shortly after that I received an email from cex.io informing that my account transactions are suspended. And now I have a volatile cryptocurrency on a CEX with blocked transactions and no reaction to emails. I am a U.S. citizen from Massachusetts who pays taxes and obeys laws. It is quite unexpected to witness this kind of attitude from a CEX who has licenses in the US.

CEX.io unable to withdraw funds, support is ignoring me To whom it may concern... I am unable to withdraw my funds from cex.io (web or app doesn't make a difference). There is always some cryptic "error" during the final step of the process. I tried multiple times and alternative steps. The card I used to create and validate my account is not available to withdraw money to (why?). I tried adding another card, they made it difficult, and in the end, I cannot withdraw money to that one either. Support stopped replying after 1 email. It's been 2+ weeks. I will be posting this in all relevant cex and crypto channels. Thanks

CEX.IO is a scam? Hi everyone, I'm encountering a problem with Cex.io, a cryptocurrency exchange, as I'm unable to withdraw my crypto from their platform. I keep receiving the same error message repeatedly. Unfortunately, their live chat feature doesn't allow me to send messages, and I couldn't find a phone number to reach their customer support. Oddly enough, I haven't come across a single post online where someone claims to have successfully withdrawn their funds from Cex.io. It seems that many individuals are facing the same withdrawal issues. I plan to reach out to the Cex.io team via direct message on Reddit. In an effort to keep everyone updated, I'm posting here as well. If I am able to successfully withdraw my funds, I will provide an update to share my experience. Thank you!
