I went online to do a ticket comparison and cheap flights was the cheapest flights to El Salvador. I decided to purchase the tickets so it took me to their official website cheapflights.com which is where I was able to add our information and payment information which was made with a debit card. Upon payment I received an email with a receipt. 24 hours later they sent me an email stating the tickets are no longer available and that my card was never charged. It was charges because it was taken from the bank. I reached out to them via the number listed in their email and explained I needed a refund since they are stating the tickets are no long available, their response was "the debit card was never charged" then I said, yes it was and she said are you sure you are calling the right company. I told her this is cheap flights right and she said no. So I went and figured out that both companies work together to scam people because the people that send me the emails was hot flights not cheap flights. I filled a fraud transaction with the bank,it is still being investigated. .css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-size:auto;flex-basis:auto;width:calc(100% * 12 / var(--Grid-parent-columns) - (var(--Grid-parent-columns) - 12) * (var(--Grid-parent-columnSpacing) / var [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Cheap flight service and Hot flight deals] [Location: CA, USA - 90630]
I purchased 3 airline tickets from Cheapflights.com for a December flight. They said one week before the flight I would receive the tickets. I didn't, so I called and they said the flights were canceled. They said my money would be refunded after 7-10 days. It was not. I called them again to find out where my money is and they said that the airline refunded my money in points so I would need to open a Klarna card to transfer the points into money. He walked me through the process and after the call, I checked my credit card which had a new pending charge of $2003.99 from Cheap Flights UK. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and was refunded that money but Klarna is still looking for their $2003.99 which they will NOT GET FROM ME!! I called Cheap Flights again to inquire about my refund and the woman I spoke to asked me if I opened my Klarna account, I said I had and that she was trying to steal another $2000.00 she hung up on me. I called right back and spoke to a man who said wait 24 hrs and check my account if the $740 is not in there, I am to call him back. I don't think I will ever get my money but for everyone else, DO NOT EVER BUY AIRLINE TICKETS THROUGH CHEAPFLIGHTS.COM--IT IS A SCAM!! .css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-size [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Cheap Flight Service] [Location: PA, USA- 15024]
We went online to cheapflights.com and entered our desired destination and dates. Several companies were chosen and Cheap Vuelos had the best price. We booked the 2 roundtrip tickets through them on ********* airlines. We received and email confirming our flight selections. It stated on the email that we would not be charged until the actual ticket was confirmed which I thought was strange since I chose specific flights and thought I was purchasing them at that time. Several hours later I received a phone call from the company requesting confirmation of my flight selection and confirmation of passenger information. The person calling identified herself as Alicia. I confirmed all of the details and then she started telling me the tickets did not include luggage and we would not even be able to take a carry on. We wouldn't even be able to pay for a checked bag with ********* which is highly unusual for that airline, so I told her it was fine. She then said we wouldn't be able to sit together, and again I said that was fine. She said she could upgrade our flight to a guaranteed seat with checked bags for $1700 dollars. I told her I did not need the upgrade to guarantee seat selection or checked bags. She said it is a non refundable and no change ticket, but if you make the change right now to the upgrade, we will allow you to make the change. Again I told her I was not interested in upgrading. She said ok, we will check back in a couple of days. I checked my credit card and nothing had been charged, so I figured oh well- no discounted airfare this time. They called again 2 days later to tell me that my discounted flight was no longer available and I would have to pay $1895. for the exact same flight, with the exact same dates. They claim the discounted fare was not longer available and their tickets do not guarantee dates or prices. If I wanted the discounted fare, I would have to b [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Cheap Vuelos] [Location: MD, USA-
