Someone tried to open a bank account with my name and email Unless the emails I got were excellent phishing attempts, it looks like someone tried to open a citizen's bank account with my real first and last name and email. I got one email about the initial request and a 2nd that it was denied due to lack of verification docs. Both emails were at the same time which makes me suspect phishing but it is from a seemingly real address (banker@citizensbank.com) and they had my full name. I sent the email to citizens abuse email but couldn't get through their fraud reporting line bc I don't have an account number. I also changed my email password which has 2f authentication and it doesn't look like anyone else got in. What else should I do?
