Penny Saver Ad. The ad was an initial job offer. The offer included a paint job for my car. So i would be seen promoting the beer distributor Heineken. Housing was offered on line at craigslist.com It was for the one bedroom apartment in kentfield california. And there was a pitch made at the metro pcs store central san rafael for a free phone and free tablet. After purchasing the phone and tablet i was arrested and my tablet was stolen by the police. When i made my first rent payment my initail deposit was stolen. And when i followed the instructions i received by text. I was sent a fradulent check in the ammount of 10,000 dollars. I reported this to the mill valley police department. I've been applying to Craigslist jobs, and several of them have been very obvious scams. I'm fairly certain this is one too (because who says Congratulations!!! and it has some other grammar issues), but it's so different from the others I thought I would ask /r/scams opinions?
