May have fallen for the scam So I received this text message after making a purchase today. “BofA Security: Your debit card ending in **** was used at: , $21.13, Approved, 01/19. Did you authorize this activity? Reply YES or NO. Text STOP to end texts” I responded yes thinking it was legit and then received an email from Bank of America saying the same thing and asking me to call and that it was suspicious activity from this email onlinebanking@ealerts.bankofamerica.com. I didn’t click on anything aside from responding yes to the text. The email showed up like 2 seconds after I said yes though so it feels like maybe the second step in the scam?
