HELP what is this "Streamate!"? I did NOT open any such account or visit porn sites. I got this email at 1am (while I was sleeping), it included my personal email as user and a password... "Welcome to Streamate! We have activated your membership to Streamate. You can point your browser to streamate.com to use your membership. Your account information is shown below for reference purposes. Any purchases made on your account will be discreetly billed as ECHST.net." Then I got 4 "support" emails with totals at around $75 each. I didn't want to log into an account I didn't create but I did reply with a polite "WTF is this". It looks like none of my credit cards or Paypal were charged. I did immediately change my email passwords though. When I did some research, it looks like this is a porn thing ran by the mob. Not something I want to get into for sure. I'm left wondering of 3 possibilities 1) Identity theft 2) Just a scam email to get me to log into something 3) A system issue, or a hacker that hacked into a site and used my email or something...
