Is this too-good-to-be-true apartment a scam? Hi Reddit! On Saturday I applied for a one-bedroom apartment online which looked pretty flash and is ridiculously cheap. The owner then e-mailed me asking me to provide answers to a bunch of pretty standard questions about my current living situation, how long I want the apartment for, etc. I sent her back the details and this morning she replied saying she was happy to rent me the apartment, but that as she is overseas, she will be processing my bond and sending my keys through [this website](http://ee-intex-hlb.com). I can't find any information/reviews about this website and the whole thing reads a little like the Nigerian Prince. I replied to her e-mail asking for her to give me a call and if she will be lodging my bond with our national GBH. Immediately after sending this I got a blank reply. If any of you guys have any advice/thoughts/information for me it would be awesome! The apartment is just too good to be true and I'm kinda suspicious about the whole thing as I feel that surely she would have an agent or something set up to do this while she's overseas. I'm obviously not going to send the money, just wondered if this is a well-known thing. EDIT: Yes, it sure is!
