EIN.net is a third party service for obtaining federal tax ID numbers. The show up in a general search for the direct IRS site, and unless you read VERY fine print you do not know it is a third party site. They offer an "expedited" service, but at no time when requesting payment info do they ever disclose what the charges will be. I believe this to be in violation of law. Their charges were $319, for a service I was able to do myself for free with the official IRS site instantaneously. [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: EIN.net] [Location: CO, USA- 80112]
