How I dealt with an MLM that almost tricked me. Hey Trish, Just warning you now, this might be quite the long read. After taking a look at the web link included in our email correspondence (spmjersey.com) I started to realize there was an air of unprofessionalism surrounding the website. It also quickly hit me that the our exchanges were being relayed through gmail accounts which lends credence to the unprofessional nature of SPM, inc's practices. But that was just the beginning of my descent down this rabbit hole. A quick google search brought me to SPM's facebook page which lists the company's address as 333 US Highway 46 West Building B Suite 210, Fairfield, NJ 07004. It seems like the Hoboken office is a new venture for SPM Inc. (Congrats!) Back to the address issue. Another quick web search of SPM's Fairfield Headquarters brings up the most unsettling evidence that you, Trish, are part of a SCAM. Let's take a look at the evidence. http://entryleveljobscamsblog.blogspot.com/2011/06/phoenix-solution-fairfield-nj.html It seems there once was a business located at the same exact address that SPM inc is now located that specialized in the same exact practices that SPM inc specializes in now. Isn't that weird? This company was known as "The Phoenix Solution." And most surprisingly both SPM and The Phoenix Solution are/were both run by Michael Mounter. Here is some glowing testimony people have given towards The Phoenix Solution. Giovanni writes, " I actually came into the company for a short while, only because I would not accept the position without a weekly base, and was given a decent base salary. However, I was told I would STILL get commission. It was only after I FINALLY after FOUR weeks of held checks I saw there was ONLY my base, and when I asked further i was told that this was explained from the very beginning. Please!! Do you really think I would forget or confuse my compensation agreement. They have NO candor, are deceitful, completely lie to the
