I found the job ad on LinkedIn. It was a listing for a remote client success coordinator for salesforce with a high hourly rate. I submitted my resume via LinkedIn. They emailed me “We appreciate the time you took to apply via LinkedIn. I know hiring companies want to do background checks, but this was the first time I had a company ask me to supply my own credit report. The verbiage on the website made it sound legitimate why they were asking for my credit report. I opted to not proceed and to do more research as to the validity of the opportunity.
