I applied to a remote job on linked in for Tiffany & Co. I realized the job was no longer available to review on linked in, and didn’t think much of it. A day later I received an email from [email protected] stating that I was aligned with their team at Tiffan & Co, and they wanted to move forward. To move forward I was to click the link to the website: https://jobshiringplc.com/ . I unfortunately clicked the link, and realized it was definitely a scam as they not only promise money for doing an interview, but also want you to click another link through their site to get a credit report. Neither of which I did. I quickly did a fact check, and found no open posting on the Tiffany & Co formal website. I then found very similar scam reported on BBB. Applied for a job on LinkedIn using their 'Easy Apply' option. I got a notification that my resume was reviewed less than 10 minutes later (which never happens, especially since it was close to midnight, well past normal business hours ended). The speed of the viewing made me suspicious. I could not find anything about this job opening on the company's main career site. The next afternoon, I got an email asking me to click on a random non-company link (https://jobshiringplc.com) to complete the next steps in the hiring process. The email was signed by 'Carey Waye (M.Ed)'.
