I went on google to type in passport renewal. Without realizing it, I logged on to a look a like website called Mypassport.com I thought I was renewing my passport but it ended up being a front that does absolutely nothing for you. They just take your money and give you a useless PDF that doesn't do anything. They also take all your important data down including the social security number and all your credit card info. They literally get all your information even though they're not a government website. Once you submit your payment they give you a weird invoice and that's when it hits you that it is a scam. I then looked up what people were saying and they all said the same thing that they immediately realized it was a scam and then tried to email them to get their money back. All of them failing to get it back and getting a pdf that does nothing in return.
