Anybody heard of CS@neatrewards.com? So I've been subscribed to /r/Freebies for a couple of months and I've signed up for tons of stuff on it. It's been awesome. But I've been getting some phone calls from New York and I never answered them till now (I only answered it because I thought it might be my friend). So I answered and they told me that I won the $1,000 daily prize (I subscribed to a Sweepstakes offer I saw on /r/freebies but I can't find the post). My scam alert was on max at this point but because I like messing with people I decided to listen to what the guy had to say. I got offered a gift basket (with ~$100 worth of stuff) and $6,000 in prize money. Then the guy started offering magazine subscriptions so I just said yes to whatever he offered. Then they started to verify my information (Name, Address) and said that I'd need to speak to a manager to finalize the transaction. So the new guy comes on the line and finalizes my information and says that he just needs to verify a CC # they have on file that starts with a 4. I've been very careful about where I put my CC, in fact I have some pre-paid cards I use for the very purpose but they seemed to have a lot of information. Just wondering if you guys know anything about them (information, history, scammer or not). $6,000 does sound nice though.
