Community Reports

What professionals do I talk to about warranty fraud? Hi, I've been following the trend of warranty fraud (coined as "social engineering" over the past few years) since 2007 from within communities formed with the specific purpose of conning corporations out of either: cash in the form of illicit "goodwill refund" bank transfers or free products via deception. I've grown to be pretty much the most elite member within these communities. I have a unique position, being able to continue "research" from within these social circles and at the same time, being able to alert corporations before they are heavily affected. Apple is a huge victim of this. It's stupidly easy to obtain free Apple products directly from Apple with no repercussions. (or any other manufacturer, just as easily) Despite speaking to the entire board, passing various emails & phone calls between myself and an Executive Internal Audit at Apple after Tim Cook assigned her to the case (I emailed him) over a two year period, Apple is still being raped hard and giving products out like candy. There is money to be made here if somehow we can substantiate a business model and perhaps execute it alongside major Customer Service software providers: e.g "Customer" -> service to detect likelihood of attempted fraud -> Report/risk factor provided to company. Some companies I have spoke to regarding this topic when they have become victims of this within these communities include: Apple, Ouya, Jawbone, Dyson, Pebble, iDevices, Wicked Lasers, Kobo, GoPro, Nike, Idea Paint, EMC, Google, Microsoft, Mophie, HTC, Sony & more I'm not a business man so I don't know exactly how we would go about this, but one thing I do know, I know how to obtain any product from pretty much any manufacturer. Can someone get in touch with me via email if you're interested to hear more? goldf1nger@outlook.com - I made a post in HN too but no replies yet: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=6476974
