I bought 2 knives from https://okuracookware.com/collections/japanese-knives. I bought one by mistake and tried to initiate a return within 20 minutes of the purchase. They told me they could not do it. The knife showed up 3 weeks later and was a fake Damascus steel. They sent me both knives I ordered, but the one I wanted to return is clearly not Damascus. I will include a picture of them side by side. If you can't tell, the fake Damascus is the one of the right. The pattern seems laser etched or something. I initiated a return and they offered me 15% to not return it, but to keep it. They offered this due to high return costs because their warehouse is international. I told them.... if you would have canceled this in the first place then you wouldn't have had to send it back. Honestly, if they were both real Damascus, we would keep it but it's very clearly not real. I just told them I want a 100% refund and cited their return policy. We'll see what they say. @media (min-width:768px){.css-1w6dufj{-w [BBB Scam Type: Counterfeit Product] [Business: Okura Cookware] [Location: GA, USA- 31324]

On 1/19/2026, I placed an order for a pan and a cutting board on okuracookware.com (order #OKURA1282484). I purchased shipping protection. The pan got delivered. The cutting board did not. The online tracking tool they provide says they were both delivered in separate packages. They were shipped separately. They ask me to contact USPS to find out what happened. USPS does not recognize their tracking number they provided. They refuse to honor the shipment protection and either replace or refund the order. Cutting board cost $59.95. At this point, I’d like a full refund. I have never dealt with customer service so poor. The pan, the other part of the order, got delivered from a personal address, doesn’t have any brand markings, and I do not think it is genuine. I have a strong feeling at this point that this is a scam. @media (min-width:768px){.css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-size:auto;flex-basis:auto;width:calc(100% * 6 / var [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Okura Cookware] [Location: NY, USA- 13815]
