I didn't let the transaction go through, so I didn't lose money. However, other people will lose money. The website (potterytoolsandequipments.com) looks real and is well done. However, they made a few mistakes that indicate they are a scam site: 1) they have used the staff profiles from a legitimate company (www.clay-king.com) and changed the names. I contacted Clay-King staff, and they know their profiles have been stolen. 2) They are offering supplies at unreal low prices to draw in customers. Also, the site, while it looks good, has no addresses or other company info attached to the links. "Potterytoolsandequipments.com" lists several pieces of used pottery equipment at extremely low prices. A quick online search revealed that their staff members have the same photos of staff members from a highly reputable site - Clay King. Then the alarm went off when I realized the names and bios of the staff members are different. I contacted Clay King for clarification since I'm familiar with them and they stated "THAT IS NOT US! They are using a different studio as the fake pick up location and our wildly incorrect bios. We have tried to get it taken down." With them having fake bios of their staff, no location information, low ball pricing, and no online reviews - I believe this site is a scam and consumers should be aware not to purchase from Pottery Tools and Equipments. @media (min-width:768px){.css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0;-webkit-flex-basis:auto;-ms-flex-preferred-size:auto;flex-basis:auto;width:calc(100% * 6 / var(--Grid-parent-co [BBB Scam Type: Identity Theft] [Business: Pottery Tools and Equipments Date Re] [Location: MI, USA- 48864]
