QoinPro Observations - something smells fishy [just another annoying QoinPro post :P] so, QoinPro... if you don't use it, this will be of no concern, please move on. I know we all hate the 1000 ref-link posts... If you have signed up there, or intend to... you might find this interesting: *[tl;dr] : strange increase in min-withdrawal-limit* Quote QoinPro FAQ: >The minimum withdrawal threshold is coin dependent and is usually slightly higher the dust level of that coin. Any amount lower than the dust level will not be accepted by the network. > >For coins that require network transaction fees, the threshold is usually the same as the transaction fee, because this is usually higher than the dust level. This transaction fee isn't determined by us, nor does it go to us. It goes to the miners validating all transactions. > >If it were up to us, both the withdrawal threshold and the transaction fee would be 0.00000000. Unfortunately we cannot influence either of these limits. Yeah right! So what happened? Until recently the Bitcoin withdrawal limit was at 5500 satoshis, almost as low as the dust level. Ok, I understand that. Now, suddenly, the withdrawal limit has been increase to 15500 satoshis, that's the dust limit plus the (outdated) min-tx fee. Basically this is understandable but: - with the recent bitcoin 0.9 release min-tx-fees are now only a 1/10 and qoinpro NOW suddenly wants to include the outdated fee in the withdrawal limit?! will they actually deduct that from the withdrawal amount? - does this imply they send each withdrawal in a single transaction manually?! An awful waste of BTC for tx-fees. Faucets should usually pay out in batches to reduce the tx-fee overhead. They say that they do process withdrawals manually, maybe they are capable of setting up a fancy web-frontend but actually are clueless about a proper bit(/alt)coin integration? All in all, this makes me start having a few doubts about this site. I used to be pretty convinced this was goi
