On September 21st of 2025 we decided to make a payment toward the balance due on our river cruise scheduled for 2027. We were out of town so we only had our iPhones with us. I did a quick search to find the customer service number for Viking so we could make a partial payment. I am not sure of how we ended up with the number to Queenmarycruises.com (also known as TravelJunction.com) but we did. My wife placed a call to them and the representative, Roger Smith, told us he could make the payment for us to our Viking account. All along we thought we were talking directly with Viking and gave Roger our credit card information and the dates of the cruise. They sent us an email to confirm the charge was going to our Viking account and asked us to confirm payment. I have attached a file that contains the email chain between my wife, Anne and Roger. As you can see the email they sent us looks like it came from Viking and has our cruise information so to us it looked valid. They charged our card in the amount of $2901. A week or so later we checked our account with Viking and no payment had been made. In the document you can see we emailed Roger to find out when it would be applied, and he told us to wait and it would be. More time elapsed and I called Roger and he said he had processed a refund earlier that week. Once again, we did not get a refund nor was a payment applied to our Viking account. I opened a dispute with Barclays for the charge to our Red Aviator card and they reached out to QueenMaryCruises.com since we had not received the services that they had promised us which was to pay that amount to our Viking account. They ruled in favor of the merchant since we had agreed to the payment. We only agreed to the payment because the email and information it contained looked like it came from Viking. As you can see the email does look official. I also searched on queenmarycruises.com to see if [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: TravelJunction.com and QueenMaryC
