Scammer said they had a dog that needed to be rescued. Cost to adopt the dog was $250. I said great we will drive down and pick it up. They said for only $150 more they can have it delivered, so we agreed. Asked for $200 deposit through Zelle with the final $200 upon delivery. The morning of the deliver date they texted and said they needed another $700 for a heated crate for the dog. They actually had a bogus website set up https://swiftlogistictransports.com/ with a bogus tracking number. Upon looking further into the bogus shipping website I realized it was a scam. From what I’m hearing is if I sent the $700 for the crate that the next thing they would be asking for is money for insurance on the delivery.
