Saw an ad for cute sneakers on Instagram. Purchased the sneakers through Instagram. I never received an email confirmation of my order, or an order number. I had no idea when the sneakers were going to arrive. I emailed their customer service team to ask about my purchase and find out if my sneakers would ever arrive. I asked if I could have an order number. Got an email response with a tracking number, but no order confirmation number was shared. The sneakers arrived. They were way too big. I contacted them asking to return. They replied that since "I’d like to clarify that our store does not accept returns in cases of regret regarding the product’s model or size, as stated in our refund policy (https://thefieldstock.com/policies/refund-policy)." I replied that that is insane! They replied that they would love to help but could not find my order in their system. I then shared their very clear marketing on their website that they accept ALL returns. They replied "We understand your frustration and would like to resolve this in the simplest and fastest way possible for you. Since international returns can be costly and time-consuming, we would like to offer you a 50% refund of the amount paid on your order, and you may keep the product. If you accept this solution, there will be no need to return the item. This way, you avoid the inconvenience of shipping the order back to us, as well as waiting for the item to arrive at our facility, be evaluated by our team, and only then have the refund issued after several days." I said YES please. They NEVER refunded me. NOW, I just discovered that they have been charging my credit card $29.99 every month since I purchased these sneakers! I am reporting fraud to my bank, and will likely have to lock this card and get a new one.
