I received a text in the spring of 2025 from someone at a scamming company by the name of USA TM Solutions. https://usatmsolutions.com/ He asked if I owned the company by my company’s name and said he was working with a client who wanted to trademark the name. He asked if I was okay with that. (I sought out our company’s trademark previously but it was declined because the company name is descriptive. I let him know that I do own the company and that we were going to seek out the trademark again. He then said they would not move forward with the other client then and that their team could secure the trademark for us. That led to working with them. ?? I paid them to get 3 classifications for our company name. They only applied for 1 of the classifications, kept the rest of the funds for themselves, and they did a poor job on the application. ??While it was still in the trademark approval process, they pushed me to get our logo trademarked. I was hesitant because we were considering updating it in the near future. They told us we could update it at anytime after it is trademarked. (That is false information but I didn’t know it at the time.) I paid for them to get 3 classification for the logo. They only submitted it for 2 and kept the rest of the money for themselves. They did a poor job with what they did too. ??? All correspondence was through email and phone calls. I should have asked for video meetings. Months later, they set up a phone call. The scheduler transferred me to a person pretending to be an IP Lawyer. After talking my ear off and trying to speak over my head, he said we had our scheduled appointment with the US patent and trademark office. That led to him “dialing a number” the phone ringing, a woman asking what our confirmation appointment number was, which he gave them, and then to a man with a very authoritative voice who said he was from the USPTO.
