Letter addressed to my name from the VSK Law firm (legit webpage/etc.) references someone who passed away in Canada and left $18.6M with no beneficiaries listed. The deceased has the same name as me but zero ties to me (not direct family) and offers to make me the executor and give me 50% of the claim and they keep $9.3M. Email response is to [email protected] which doesn't match vsklawfirm.com so is SPAM!!!! I'm sure the next step is they ask for money or bank account to help pay for admin costs as soon as you provide banking info.
