An ad with TSC name, stated that they were clearing Inventory and if I paid $9.99 I would receive a product. I paid the $9.99. After my payment was processed, I was taken to the website called woofsy. When I suspected something was wrong, I checked my bank account and there was two charges for for $9.99 plus fees for a total of $21.09. It made it seem like a product would be shipped for survey participation and that woofsy.com was the payment platform and then after the charge, they took an additional unauthorized transaction of $15 for a membership to woofy that i didn't authorize. The company claims canceling will still generage a monthly charge until may 2026 when i didn't authorize any monthly charges. The initial confirmation for my shipping charge of $21.09 didn't effect generate or email my a receipt, it went immediately to the woofsy website for confirmation of $16 that i didn't authorize. When communicating through chat, their response in regards to conpleting a target survey was so long and detailed, it had to of been copied and pasted of repeated use. They are scamming ppl out of 6 months of charges for a membership that wasn't agreed upon and not shipping the product of the initial shipping charge that was the only thing agreed upon. .css-1w6dufj{-webkit-box-flex:0;-webkit-flex-grow:0;-ms-flex-positive:0;flex-grow:0; [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: theWoofsy.com] [Location: TX, USA - 79110]
A post on Facebook posing as hobby lobby giving away 36 skeins of yarn from “I love this yarn” for $10. But after clicking link and the website got my personal mailing info and my card info; and that’s when I noticed the website name change to woofsy.com and seen some small print saying I will have to pay a reaccurring fee of $69 every 2 weeks. My card declined and I got in contact with my fraud department. [BBB Scam Type: Retail Business Business name Hobby lobby Imposter] [Business: Hobby lobby Imposter] [Location: CA, USA- 93702]
I bought digital products online and I guess they piggybacked off of it somehow. I was purchasing a digital sound recordings that was only supposed to be $37 by the time I was done it was $59.00 & 10 minutes later I got charged by the woofsy.com for $9.99. And then another charge for $8.16 happened yesterday. It happened to my DoorDash card, so Doordash alerted me of the fraudulent charge and asked me if I had authorized that charge. I told them no absolutely not the second time I’ve gotten a charge from them so they canceled my card. It’s just more of a headache than anything. I don’t really care about the money.
