Doctorate Research Study (with a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card) Hello! I used to be a caretaker to an individual who has dementia until I left for graduate school. My interest in the disease along with the impact it has on caregivers has stayed with me through the years. I am completing my doctorate and part of that is completing a final research project. I am hoping to find participants who would be interested in being part of my study that looks at two major cultural orientations (individualism and collectivism) and if identifying with one of those two serves as a protective factor as a caregiver to a family member with dementia. I'm based in Asia and a lot of seniors here have started getting very isolated/lonely since covid 19 and I would like to introduce a productive way for them to still be able to stay home yet have something to look forward to. Most of them don't subscribe to streaming sites and spread over 10 hours a day on local TV. I would like to introduce a cheap cost-effective way to solve this yet help them feel productive / benefit their health mentally and physically.
