Scammer called my mobile phone, and since it was an unrecognized number I let it go to voicemail where an automated voice left this message: “ Hello, this is Lauren calling from US Claim Registry with important information. There's an unclaimed amount of $4875 tied to your name, possibly from a past tax refund, stimulus credit, or assistance program. If it's not claimed by April 7, it may be returned. You can look up your record at www.usclaimregistry.com.” Afterwards, I looked up the website left on my voicemail on Google and saw a ton of sites with “Scam” on them, so clicked BBB’s link, since I trust and am most familiar with BBB, and found someone else from Wisconsin reported this same exact call. I checked all my voicemails and found repeated calls from whoever is doing them, all with the same automated message to call them back or check the website link they included (www.usclaimregistry.com). I have not gone to this website, though. [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Lauren from US Claim Registry Date R] [Location: UT, USA - 84003]
