Realized that an interview was actually a scam but gave them sensitive info, are there any steps I should take? Hello. I made a dumb mistake and realized or think that I was talking to a scammer. I gave them my full name, address, phone number, and email. I did not provide any ssi or gov ids/documents. While I know that info can be found online and they had 3/4 of that info anyway, I'm still worried about any identify theft that can happen. My credit has been frozen in 2/3 major credit unions while the third one won't allow me to freeze without calling them since I have no credit history. I'm also assuming it's one of those check scams. Thank you for any input.
