I received a call from 215-318-0757. Prerecorded message asked for my car's mileage and my zip code. They knew my name and the make and model of my car. I gave them phony information and was transferred to a woman, who asked for more information. I told her that someone at her number had been calling my phone and after I said, Hello," played some obnoxious noise then hung up. This time, I wanted to put a stop to it, and told her so, in no uncertain terms. She hung up. Minutes later, another call from the same number. This time, a male voice, telling me that he could give me a lower Car Shield rate. I told him, correctly, that I had no Car Shield contract, as I was with Endurance. He said he represented Chrysler and could still get me a better deal. I asked him for a phone number I could call to verify and he asked me if I had a pen. I said I did and he hung up. Then I got a call -- from the same number -- and a woman said she wanted to talk me into joining the class action lawsuit against Endurance. I told her I had no problems with Endurance and she started yelling at me and asked, "Don't you have internet?" before she disconnected. Caller ID was "Warrington" and I went to beenverified.com to find out what I could about these bastardly scammers. Not much was available, not even a street address.
