I am sending this email because an agent /broker opened a Medicare insurance plan under my name without my consent. It is someone with last name of Jake Grossman and that was through HealthSherpa. My name is ********* ************, dob 08.09.68. I have always had medicaid and once I started working @ MHC Kenworth, I got a health insurance plan through my employer (BCBS), which was deducted weekly from my pay check. Then all of a sudden, I started getting these mailings from Aetna CVS, which I had no idea what these were and I also started to get these STUPID medicare calls at least 50 or more times a day, asking questions about a policy that I did not have. All of this is because of this fraudulent policy being opened. I had an appt at Duke Vascular in Raleigh and this stupid policy came up. On top of that when I went in to do my taxes, a special form was required that I never needed before having to do with Medicare insurance. It presented as if a part of my refund would be inpacted because of this. I am absolutely enraged that some idiot can open a policy without speaking to me or without me requesting it!!! I am going to the police about it and filing a criminal complaint against the agent, the marketplace and healthserpa. I have the same rights as you do in being free to choose and no one is going to take that away from me and get away with it. The fraudulent policy will need to be undone and any claims paid will need to be reversed so these can be paid by my legitimate insurance. I can be reached at 252.740.4442.
