I believe it's a scam to make money. I made a hotel reservation. When I called I thought it was tied to Comfort Inn. Found out later it was not. I made the reservation on March 2nd 2026 for March 9th 2026. They asked if I wanted to add $17 for insurance if I needed to cancle. I asked when was the latest date I needed to cancle to get my refund. She told me the 7th. I repeated it to her and she said yes. So I declined the added insurance. My husband had to go to the hospital and stay so I cancled my one night reservation on March 7th in the morning. I got an email stating it was cancled. I was going to receive $54.36 back on my credit card. And a penalty of one nights stay of $120.99 I was charged. Now none of this was explained to me. I was told I would be refunded. Only when I got the email of my confirmation I saw dates and times of cancling and penalties. I can't find the actual reservation name. When I disputed losing my money I called customer service called Hotel Planner at the phone number 800-497-2175. I talked to Justin. He agreed with me but it had to be investigated. They are suppose to email me but I just keep getting the same email I sent them about what happened and an option for them to call me. They never have. I don't think they will. I called Comfort Inn in Huntington, Indiana 46750. They were helpful and nice but they can't help with an outside reservation. And I guess there is a lot of them. The only number tied to the reservation from Comfort Inn was 22223439. When I called to make the reservation the phone number was 260-215-4466. The lady I talked to had interference on the line. She would talk and then another female would talk for the other lady. And when we were close to being finished she said she couldn't finish it and transfered my call. I got cut off so I didn't think it went thru. But then I got an email with a confirmation. I [BBB Scam Type: Retail Business Business name Hotel planner] [Business: Hotel pl
