I received a call from (989) 207-9877 at 10:42 am. I received another call from (267) 343-9301 at 19:43 am. I didn't answer either call - they showed up as spam. Then I received a call from (630) 554-3111 at 10:45 am that showed up as Byline Bank which I answered. The Guy was mumbling so low that I had to ask him three times what his name was and where he was from. I finally understood his name was Eric and from Consumer Credit Fraud and he claimed an application for credit was applied for with Byline Bank in my name. I remembered the earlier calls in sucssion and the fact that he made it difficult to hear him and did not trust him nor the call. I couldn't understand why he kept asking me if I would hold on for a few minutes because he was making it hard for me to understand him again. I told him that he should immediately deny the application and that I am reporting the calls to BBB scam tracker and I then hung up. I didn't give him any information other than that I was George Lee. I did not give nor variefy my SSN, addresses etc all. I then googled BBB and completed this Scam Tracker.
