I found a Doxie dog online at doxiepupscreek.com and inquired to purchase her. I paid via Zelle $1050 to them directly on 03/27/26. She had the name Jessa Llewellen from Louisville, KY. Contact number: 702-307-9137. She was suppose to ship the dog to me. She had a company called GWT Express Logistics email me confirmation of flights (tracking) the day of (03/28/26). With a contact number of 443-226-3475. They sent me the tracking info. And then an hour or so before the scheduled flight they text me to check my email and said I would have to pay $1200 to get a special crate for the dog because she couldn’t fly in the cabin. We paid that through applepay directly to 304-319-1279. Then after a few hours they text me again to check my email and sent an email stating we would have to pay $1900 for “mandatory pet insurance”. When I told them I couldn’t pay it they said I would be abandoning the dog and that it would be stuck in quarantine at the airport. I called the airport and they had no log of that company or the dog. I the company I would just pick up the dog and they said I couldn’t and had to pay. If I didn’t they would sue for abandoning the dog and I would be barred from ever getting another dog. This is the first time I’ve ever been scammed and I am so mad at myself. The websites looked like a real business. I can’t believe what an idiot I was. Please help us catch these scammers. I will give any other information you need.
