My power went off an on 20 times, late afternoon 7 March 26. My Visio tv had to reboot each time. In a later reboot, i mistakenly indicated i wanted to accept a Visio smart tv package. Once i clicked, i could not exit. Turning tv off, unplugging did not work. There was no exit. The longer I tried there was a popup to scan. Wound up talking to Barry ext 8058 at 307 226 8326. Said all tv's after 1 Jan 2026 had to have new software to work. $99.99 for 5 years or $149.00 no renewal needed. I bit for $99.99 and paid with a credit card. Barry Provided a password New@2026$ that could be used for any tv. Can connect up to 5 any brand tv's. Not until after paying did i Google and see real Visio provides the necessary support and determined that I had been scammed.
