Visa gift cards I got a $25 visa gift card from my wife for my first father’s day. On the card it tells me to go to ww.mygiftcardsite.com to register the card so I can use it online. So I go to do that and I get an error that says. “One or more field values entered are incorrect. Please try again or call 866-952-5653 for assistance.” I gave it another try thinking maybe I just mistyped something. I get the same error. So I call the number and the person on the other end tells me I have to fax a copy of my card front and back, copy of the recipe, my name and my phone number to 414-341-7600. They would not give me any other contact info. So I had to track down someone who had a fax I could borrow and I faxed all the info they wanted. I waited a week and never heard anything so I called the support number back and they told me I had to wait longer and there was nothing I could do. I did not understand how a store can active a card the moment you buy it but the support for the card takes weeks to do the same thing. This has been going on since June 15th . I have sent dozens of faxes and called them a few times in-between but never got anywhere. Then I finally got a call from a blocked number that left a voice mail. The lady said she got my fax and that it was to blurry to see the recipe and I need to send another fax in….. I looked up these numbers and that website on google and it looks like a ton of people are having the same problem. Some with $100 or even $500 gift cards. At this point I do not think I will even get my $25 and my wife fells terrible about the whole thing. I know $25 is not much compared to $500 but it feels like crap just throwing it away when money is tight as it is. The only thing I can think to do now to make me feel any better is to try to warn as many people as I can about this.
