I just got a new 'job' at Echo Advertising and I need advice. Got a new job after three interviews. If someone can please fill me in if this is some sort of scheme that'd be very helpful. I've had legitimate jobs and I've quit pyramid schemes before so I'm not a complete fool. But this one said all the right things, but didn't have the right things. For an example: -They told me it's an accelerated management training program... within 6 to 10 months I'll be managing 2 to 15 people and receiving a salary but you're getting paid solely commission in this entry level (actually makes sense which it must.) When asked what's this determined off or how you get trained or become a manager, they kind of danced around the question. -I came up with a few marketing and advertising questions for them figuring they work with different clients and have certain strategies but they had the same answer. "We just signed on Verizon and only follow their guidelines, and sell Verizon yada yada." So one, they don't sound knowledgeable in advertising after all, and two they're only interested in selling Verizon. -They didn't have any paperwork for me to sign and don't offer any health coverage. -They made it sound exclusive (of course) and when I received the job, I needed some details. They finally told me how much I make per unit sold which is fine. And my salary when I'm promoted. Thing is in the back of my head... I will not be promoted and I'm just making them money. On the flip side my hopes are they are legitimate. My question is: can they legally purchase and sign-on Verizon customers with such a sketchy system if this is truly a scam? because having a headline product like Verizon is the only thing that makes them seem so legitimate. Do they have to be a scam? No. They might be legitimate, but I just want to be sure before I put in time, effort, and gas money. Thank you ... I start Friday, please give me your honest feedback. http://echoadvertisinginc.com/ <-- that's thei
