My wife and I have been working with a so called builder that wanted 3,500 up front. We worked through several plans, but thought the architect was out of Mexico City was strange. We didn’t think any thing of it since our first interview was with a lady in Texas. Then a guy in Indiana to connect us with a realtor since the company seemed legit. Now that I type it, it seems more of a scam. Especially since I can’t find them on the BBB and I’ve asked for a detailed breakdown of where our money went multiple times.
