Selling things online scam. I don't know if this has been posted already (my apologies if someone already made a post like this) but this is new to me. It's 3 am, and I decided to post my iphone for sale on Kijiji. Almost immediately I got 3 text messages from random area codes not near me, with people offering almost double the price for me to ship the item to them. They all wanted my Paypal information so they could send me the payment ASAP. So naturally I sent them a fake name and address (feel free to ever want to use Ivana Fookqu. no one seems to have caught on yet) Anywho, the numbers seemed to be answering my questions spot on, but all had almost the exact same story. Here are the numbers i encountered, and I hope maybe at least one confused person will read this, and not fall for it :) (573)416-0717 (234)206-1585 (917)727-3560 Google did not have much information, but enough for me to realize they weren't real. So I am trying to get the word out, cause unfortunately people fall for these type of things or else they wouldn't be around :/ Edit/ here are the rest of the phone numbers I got harassed with. (646)820-9643 (315)514-0317 (518)629-5481 (208)254-1107 (765)299-0179 It's been annoying to have my phone attacked with text messages, but it's been really fun messing with these guys. They all in the end want me to send my phone to Nigeria.
