I received a text first from 612-409-8518, 7727 first stating their name is Emily from Genty Recruitment about a remote position they are offering, asking if I'm over 25 and legal to work in the US. Next she states after confirmation of those 2 things that her hire up Madison will be in contact with me to go over more details for this job. 2 days after the text from Emily Madison texts me has me create an account for metric Theory and it does look legit since they even use the legit website that the real company metric Theory uses. But then they have you do these training sessions that are way too simple oh and they deposit money into your account to do the training sessions. Finally after all that they ask if you have cash app found out with the real company you will actually get payroll or direct deposit. And finally when they said to download what'sapp to do more training I laughed, definitely a scam. Please if you come across this and it feels too good to be true and too easy it is definitely a scam especially if they want your cash app info and want to do training with you on what's app. Hope this will help save anyone from being duped in the future.
