I was hesitant when he asked for it in Bitcoin, but I still sent it, because I really want to help a sick family friend. I sent him $710 in BTC. He sent me tracking for the package to Poland. Now there is a message from the shipping company that is asking for a refundable $550 payment for insurance. That immediately alerted me to the fraud. Unfortunately, I lost $710 in the meantime from this guy praying on desperate people with cancer. It's terrible.
