I received a call from 640 213 7763 at 3 pm today saying that they need to serve notice at my address (they had my address) and that they were giving me an opportunity to talk to the Law firm handling the case viz. C&A Law Firm in Texas at 877 421 1118. A case number was provided. On calling the 877 number the lady explained that there was Capital One Line of Credit which was opened (which also had some connection with HSBC) and that has not been paid so her law firm has received a court judgement to collect it from me. Interestingly they had all my details (although the SSN was incorrect). I told them to go ahead and take the steps they want to... the supposed amount was around $4,300.
