I was called by the number 647-521-5120. I picked up and it was a robocall/automated message claiming to be from Amazon and that this call is regarding my recent purchase of an iPhone from Amazon, which costs $799.00. So, I stopped paying attention/ended the call around this time. I did not buy an iPhone from Amazon. So it seems that these scammers are getting better than before. Amazon (Canada) and iPhones(/Apple products) are both businesses that I frequently use. Anyway, they are impersonating Amazon Canada and oftentimes Rogers. Someone from the BBB got my phone carrier Bell to label incoming calls that may be spam/scam. However, Bell did not get all of these numbers; they catch between 1 to 2 of these numbers a day, but I always get at least 1 other number calling me everyday that is not caught by Bell's warning (of possible spam/scam) system. I don't know how they're doing it but it looks like these con-artists can always make up a new number. [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: Amazon *SPOOFER*] [Location: ON, CAN - L4B 2W9]
