A caller identifying herself as Helen Smith, Deputy Manager, Records, California Department of Public Health, and another man with an Indian accent, called my cell phone multiple times from 657-271-3197. I hung up on the first call from the man. He indicated they were investigating a large morphine drug purchase in Washington DC that was done under my name. I told him I had never had a prescription for morphine nor purchased any such drug. I hung up on him. Then they kept calling my phone. I answered again and I asked him for his manager. Then the Helen Smith person came on the line. She indicated they were investigating a large morphine drug purchase in Washington DC that was done under my name. She asked me to come to their office in Sacramento. I told her I was caregiving elderly parents and asked if they would pay for a caregiver and plane ticket from Southern Nevada. She said no. The last time she called I finally answered and told her I understood if there was a problem the DEA would contact me by mail or come to my home. I told her I was reporting her to the FTC fraud department. She said "I understand" and hung up.
