**** Jenson received a Text Message on 3-9-2026 to her personal phone # (701-290-3981) from the email [email protected] (there was no phone number, just said it was from this email address). The Text Message stated: "Apple Pay Notification A transaction request of $143.95 from Apple Store CA is currently awaiting confirmation. If this charge looks familiar, you don't need to do anything. If you believe this request is unauthorized, please reach out to Apple Support for help: +1 844-505 0841 You may also review your latest account activity at: support.apple.com. Reply STOP if you prefer not to receive these messages." **** called the +1 844-505-0841 number in the text message. Scammer stated his name was Steve from Apple and told **** if she gets cut off she can ONLY call his number back. **** only gave identifiable information of her name **** Jenson and her email address [email protected] (the scammer had her phone number already). Steve informed **** of a $143.95 charge at Apple Store, CA and pressured **** to download an app to her phone so they could stop the payments from going through. When **** hesitated to download the app the scammer Steve stated now there is another charge of $12,000 and subsequently said there was a third charge of $4,000 on top of it. Steve kept pressuring **** to urgently download a specific app to her phone (do not remember name of app Steve was saying) to stop these charges. **** realized this was all suspicious at this point and asked for Steve's address and Steve gave an address of 1 Apple Parkway, Cuptertino, CA 95014. **** then hung up the call.
