Victim stated on November 3, 2025, their garage door failed to open, did a goggle search and found a company named Hermitage Garage Doors 2501 Shenango Valley Freeway (Hermitage PA) 724-860-2900 https://garagedoorshermitage.com/ An appointment was set up for that day at apx 1pm EST. A white male arrived in a large black truck with a New Jersey registration. The male spoke broken English and could have been Israeli. The man said he could fix the garage for $300 and $500 for fix and warranty. He did not seem like he knew what he was doing, as if he was part of a scam. Instead of the check being written to the company name the male requested the check be written to Michael Industries. A check was written to the man.
