I have received two phone calls & voicemail messages from this "company." One was March 30th, 2026 at 8:56am. A "Michael Waters" claimed to be calling from William Peters and Associates. He claimed that they have "received preliminary paperwork" and directed me to the website www.williamspeters.com to "avoid possible further complications as a result of this outstanding matter." This call came from the following number: 800-329-5102 The second call was today, March 31st 2026 at 10:52am. This person (it sounded like a bot) knew my name and even pronounced it correctly, which is almost unheard of as my first name is Dutch and my last name is German. Her name was "Sydney" and she claimed to be calling from Williams Peters and Associates. She also directed me to the website www.williamspeters.com and left me another phone number to call: 888-867-7044. She claimed to have "time-sensitive legal documents" and said that if they didn't hear from me within 48 hours "service will proceed at the last address we have on file in Traverse City." I did used to live in Traverse City, Michigan for ten years, but that was 23 years ago now. This call came from the following number: 313-379-8013 The website they directed me to does exist, but clearly it is part of the scam. It also has another phone number on it to call.
