I received a letter in the mail with my full name and address on it. It stated that it was a “FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY” with a Record ID number, stating that “We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice”. At the bottom of the mail, it had a check looking paper that could easily pass for a real check, had my information on it along with a dollar amount of $199.00, and on the back it had a place for a signature as a real check would have.
